Over 3,000 square foot of our facility is dedicated to a special strength training and cardio circuit for women known as the Ladies’ Zone.

For those who want to do strength and cardio, the express workout can be utilized in a way that gives users a total body strength training workout and maintains their heart rates throughout the circuit. The user performs a series of different exercises in one training session, alternating between intervals of strength training and cardiovascular exercise.

Unlike traditional strength training, which allows for heart rate recovery during the rest period between strength training exercises, circuit training with cardio incorporated allows exercisers to reap the benefits of both types of exercise. And since the heart rate stays elevated throughout the session, more work is performed in less time, resulting in a greater calorie burn! The express circuit consists of the following 10 Life Fitness Circuit Series machines:

    • Squat
    • Leg Extension
    • Leg Curl
    • Chest Press
    • Lat Pulldown
    • Seated Row
    • Shoulder Press
    • Biceps Curl
    • Triceps Press
    • Abdominal Crunch

In addition to the two circuits, the Ladies Zone features two Life Fitness Crosstrainers, Life Fitness Recumbent Bikes, Life Fitness Treadmills, and one of Life Fitness’ new Summit Trainers.
